On December 24, 2002, my family had a medical emergency.  My son, Saul, had a shunt malfunction that caused him to have four strokes that left him totally disabled and blind.  This was devastating to our family!! When Saul was in ICU, the doctors wanted to remove him from the breathing machine, which meant life or death.

This was the biggest decision that my husband and I would ever make!  We knew that we needed spiritual counseling from our Pastor & First Lady Fields.  We called and they came right away without hesitation.  After speaking with them, they put our hearts and mind at ease.  I will never forget what Pastor Fields said to us that set us free.  He said, “Only God has the power to give life or death.  If this is God’s will, Saul will live”.

This gave us the faith and strength we needed to press on.  We were free to make the decision to remove the breathing machine. GLORY BE TO GOD SAUL IS STILL WITH US!!!

The ministry of Christian Fellowship has been a great blessing to me.  All of my life I had been a person who was not stable.  I was in and out of church, was easily offended and would want to give up.  I would take a “vacation for the House of God and His people”.  Pastor Ronnie Fields and First Lady Doreatha Fields were praying for me and they never gave up on me even in times when I didn’t want to listen. 

I could feel their prayers because when I wanted to do wrong I felt uncomfortable, I wasn’t happy and I would feel convicted.  When I came back to church, they would encourage me, speak the WORD OF GOD into my life and let me know that God loved me.  They chastened me with the love of God and because of their love and concern for my soul,  I am now restored, set free, never again to be entangled with the yoke of bondage of thinking I was a failure and that I didn’t have enough education.

I am so very thankful for the ministry of Christian Fellowship!   

In 2005, my husband and I made the decision to move to Florida from Connecticut.  The most important thing to me was to find a good church home with a loving church family.  I prayed and asked God to bless me with a good church where I could continue to be nourished in the words of faith and sound doctrine.

After checking the phone book for listings, I called several churches for location and directions.  I got only one response and that was from Pastor Fields.  When I came to visit, as I got out of my car and was walking up to the door, I heard a voice say “This is it”.  I wasn’t talking to myself and was by myself.  Now I know without a doubt that it was the voice of God, letting me know he had heard my prayer.

Since joining Christian Fellowship I am not disappointed at all. Pastor and First Lady Fields have been a great blessing to me.  God has endowed these two people with a profound ministry and knowledge of His Word.  I consider myself to be blessed to be under the leadership of such kind, sweet and caring people of God.
